Steve Israel

Steve Israel represented New York in the US House of Representatives from 2001 to 2017, chairing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee before becoming a CNN political commentator and founding director of Cornell University's Institute of Politics and Global Affairs. He is also the author of two political satire novels, The Global War on Morris and Big Guns.
